I have requested to transfer my old number, from my old provider to KPN but I received a sim card with a different number and I see that my subscription is on that new number. Is that normal? Do I have to do something about that?

Not necessarily, whenever you request a transfer you will always get a temporary number.
May I check this for you? Would you please fill in your KPN profile and let me know when it's done?
