I have a mobile unlimited plan and use it very often. KPN provided my phone with two Access Point Names configs. The default one, “KPN Internet” works like this:

Pinging kpn.nl n75.2.72.204] with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Reply from 75.2.72.204: bytes=32 time=69ms TTL=118

The other Access Point Name you provide is called “KPN/Hi 4G LTE Mobiel internet”. I switched to this one and ran the ping again:

I am in Hengelo. The serving BTS is:

TAC-ECI :33301-12342057
eNB-LCID: 48211-41
EARFON-PCI: 500-396
Fc:2160.0
NID: 132-0

Can you check it out?

I have fixed the issue.

The first APN “KPN INTERNET” had one type of value set: default
The second APN “KPN/Hi 4G LTE Mobiel internet” had two types of values set: default, supl, mms

Why did you configure TWO APN’s as default? There is only one default and maybe another supplementary, but NEVER TWO default APN’s! This can cause connectivity issues especially as one of them was set to be both ‘default’ and ‘supl’!

I have configured them properly on my device and everything works fine. If you don’t know what I did, hire somebody who will understand what I just wrote.

I am leaving your third entry called “KPN XCAP” “ut” (whatever “ut” means) untouched, It is an XML Configuration Access Protocol used (hopefully) for updating your IMS subsystems, but based on what I’ve just encountered, I doubt their sole existence.

Problem solved, thread can be closed.
