Pressing WiFi button on Box 12 reset the model

Today I encountered a strange issue. My devices suddenly got disconnected from WiFi, and when I checked, the WiFi light on the modem was off. I did a soft reset (turned the modem off and on), but nothing happened. When I tried pressing the WiFi button to turn it on, the WiFi reset again and the power light turned red. I even tried a hard reset on the modem, but nothing changed — the issue remains the same.

Hi @Mo_1234567890 . Welcome to the KPN Community! First of all, I’ve changed your username because using “KPN” is not allowed. If you’d like to change it to something else, feel free to send me a private message.

It looks like your modem is caught in some sort of boot loop. As @Leen59 mentioned, this could possibly be due to the power adapter. You can use this Servicetool to check whether yours is defective and request a replacement. Hopefully, you’ve already contacted the helpdesk to address this issue. If not, you can always schedule a callback appointment to speak with someone quickly. You’ll be called back at a time that works best for you.

I just noticed that the modem resets every couple of minutes. Even when I try to connect via LAN, it resets after a minute or sometimes even just a few seconds. I think the issue might be with the modem itself.

Maybe the poweradapter has a defect.
