Changed my number from postpaid to prepaid but now it doesn't work

i had my postpaid sim in my phone and changed ot to prepaid. now i am outside NL and i see that my prepaid is not activated. I was told that I should not do anything and it will be automatically prepaid. Now it is completely frozenĀ

Hi ​@Luxdev, welcome to our community! If your number changed from postpaid to prepaid you won't have to activate it yourself as it's already activated. As Pieter mentions it might mean you're out of credit

AssumingĀ KPN terminated your postpaid subscription and connected your existing phone number to a prepaid plan, using the same existing sim card for all of this,

your task is to make sure there is sufficient call credit.

to top up.

Make sure no data traffic is running thru your KPN sim card, so your call credit is not sucked away, in particular outside the EU.

Place your phone number and sim card number in a PRIVATE field of your forum profile at

https://community.kpn.com/settings/profileĀ 

in case a forum moderator needs to check the status of your call credit and sim card.
