Found this port in my house, but I currently have fiber. Is there a way to convert it into ethernet?

If you have a fiber connection then there should be another port. This is a connector for telephone.

Sadly there are no ethernet ports in here, just this and coax!

Hi @Corbannik! Did you manage to locate the fiber connection in your house? You can find examples for these kind of accespoints on our site. If you keep experiencing problems feel free to schedule an appointment with one of our mechanics.

It looks like the `FTU Glasvezel en NT`. My question is whether or not the port I posted above can be converted into ethernet or if I will need to run wire to it manually

No, you can't because it's only for telephone. The contact can only be used for (A)DSL connection with (yes) an ethernet cable. But I don't know all the technical details of such a connection.

If the cable from this connection comes out the meter coupboard it is possible to replace this with an UTP cable and RJ 45 connection box.

Please upload a picture of the complete meter cupboard.

It depends on the cable used to connect these outlets. Usually, in houses built after 2000, Cat5E is used (as the old telephone wiring is no longer made), which is suitable for Gigabit.

In my case, I have two of these phone connections. And they both go to my utilities closet using Cat5E. I replaced both wall outlets with an etherent outlet and connected the wires in the closet to a small 2-way patchbox.
