So I have a newly installed set-up and Previously Ziggo KPN didn’t inform me the TV box required an Ethernet connection from the hub.

So rather than waist money on running Ethernet from the Hub all the way across the house or Ethernet power connections adaptors I figured it could be done another way.

Where my TV is located I have a PC with a wireless card and an Ethernet port (wireless connects to the KPN hub) I could bridge the wireless connection and the Ethernet on the PC and then plug the KPN TV box into the PC and have it share the PC’s WiFi connection back to the KPN hub.

Sounds fine right however I cant get it to work has anyone done anything like this?

Hello @Dr_J.Smith. As far as I know this won't work. At least I have never come across this kind of setup, and we don't support it officially… So my advice would is to run a ethernet cable.
