Is a LAN Cable Mandatory To Extend Wifi Using Experia Wifi Extender?

Hello,

I recently subscribed to KPN Internet and Box 12b is installed at my home. Cropped Image Attached

From the FB marketplace I have purchased 3 Experia Wifi Repeaters. Image attached

I have Ethernet/LAN cable which I used to connect from Box 12b to one of the Experia Wifi repeater.

My question - is the Ethernet cable always needs to be connected between box 12b and Experia wifi extender? or once the wifi setting are installed in the Experia wifi extender then I longer need to keep the Ethernet.

I don’t want to run LAN cables from ground floor till attic. attached are the images for reference.

Yes, you must maintain the wired connection for these access points to work. If you can’t or don’t want to do this wired you need the Super Wifi access points KPN sells or something from a different brand like TP Link Deco etc.
