SuperWifi can't connect to modem, led remains purple

HI

I’m trying to connect Super Wifi 2 to KPN box. I followed the instruction mentioned in the booklet and also  online installation guide. However the Super Wifi-2 is not working. It remains in purple color.

When I connect Super Wifi 2 to KPN Box via ethernet cable then it is turn green and remain green.

I’ve also tried to reset it multiple times and each time after reset I left the Wifi connected to Box more that 30 mins. Every time when it is connected via ethernet cable it remain green.

However when I remove ethernet cable and restart the light remain purple. 

I’ve also tried WPS switch option. Still no luck.

Please advice.

Thank you for your message. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble connecting your SuperWifi 2.

Based on your description, it seems that the SuperWifi 2 works correctly when connected to your KPN Box with an Ethernet cable, but it does not establish a wireless connection after the cable is removed.

Could you please let us know which KPN modem you are using? We would also like to know whether the SuperWifi 2 units are brand new or have been used before. If possible, could you also tell us the firmware version of your modem?

I’m using KPN Box 12 with SuperWifi-2. The SuperWifi is new it is not used before. I’m trying to use it for first time. However it is not connecting. The ethernet cable connection is working fine the light is green. But when I remove the cable then it doesn’t connect and light remain purple.  I tried multiple times reset the box, using WSA, multiple power cycles, none of them helped. Here are the details for KPN box and SuperWifi-2
