Mijn verbinding valt precies een jaar na installatie uit

My 4 Gbps fiber connection completely dropped yesterday (September 1st), which was the exact date my minimum 1-year contract term ended and transitioned to rolling.

On my fiber ONT box, the Connection light is flashing green and the Alarm light is completely off. The KPN Box 14 is cycling between purple/pink and orange.

The automated MijnKPN app booked a mechanic for tomorrow (03-09-2026), but because the drop coincided precisely with the contract rollover date, this looks like an administrative de-provisioning bug where the ONT serial was dropped or hung on the OLT at the street cabinet.

Could a moderator please check the backend provisioning and re-provision my ONT serial number remotely so we can restore the line and avoid an unnecessary mechanic visit?

Thank you!

Hi @Andreazzy, welcome to the forum.

unfortunately the moderators in this forum cannot look in the backend systems.
They can aks colleages who work there to check things, but as you have allready made an appointment for tomorow, i do not think that would be quicker ;-)

did you try to unplug the poweradapter of the ONT for at least two minutes and a full reset of the KPN Box?

what type of ONT do you have?

greets,
Peter

Hi Peter, thanks for the reply. Yes, I did a full power cycle—unplugged the ONT for over 2 minutes and did a hard reset on the KPN Box 14, but the ONT Connection light remains flashing green with the Alarm light off. It is the standard black XGS-PON ONT for the 4 Gbps connection. The drop happened on Sept 1st right as the contract rolled over, so it seems like an OLT provisioning drop. Hoping an official moderator can have backend colleagues check it before tomorrow's appointment.

Hm, can be.
But if it is something not technical but more administrative i would suggest calling customer support or creating a call back appointment (“maak een belafspraak”)
