Hi ~2 weeks ago I noticed V10 received an update V1.01.00T04.3Intermediate and since then DHCP server is broken and modem requires daily reboot (sometimes twice a day).
The problem is that once DHCP lease runs out the server does not hand out IP addresses anymore.
Both Wired and wireless devices are impacted.
I performed a factory reset via modem interface and it did not help. Then I called KPN customer support who did not know what DHCP server even is! But we found out that the factory reset I performed did not finish successfully because modem remembered wifi settings.
So we performed yet another factory reset which then reset everything (maybe).
DHCP server is not responding to Discover.
On top of that some settings are not remembered first try and I have to click again or reboot modem.
2 )I would prefer to use my own modem if possible which I can be in control off because this is just disaster, since KPN bought Telfort I keep getting problems but nobody is able to tell me what do I need to use my own modem. Is only solution to this plugging an extra router between KPN modem and my network?
PS. I found this thread which seems to describe similar problems
